The Radiofrequency Method.
RF -Radiofrequency is a non-surgical skin-tightening treatment and one of the most popular modalities in modern cosmetology. It uses controlled electromagnetic energy in the radio-wave spectrum [typically 890 kHz–2.7 MHz] to gently warm targeted layers of the skin.
During an RF treatment, energy is delivered through a handpiece directly into the tissue. This creates a controlled electromagnetic field that converts high-frequency energy into therapeutic heat, warming the dermis and the subcutaneous layer. As tissues warm, collagen fibres can contract and tighten, helping the skin feel firmer and more elastic. RF also supports longer-term results by stimulating fibroblasts and encouraging the natural production of collagen and elastin, while improving microcirculation and cellular metabolism.
Because RF operates at very high frequency, it does not trigger sensory or motor nerves, so the experience is typically comfortable—felt as a pleasant, even warmth—without muscle contractions. Results and comfort levels can vary depending on skin condition, treatment settings, and individual response.
